Problem solved

Frustrated by the old ways of ordering, manual payments, customer and supplier on boarding and discover it was time for a change. Enter Supply'd, the brainchild of a small chocolate business in Australia.

Working and working full time is a reality for a lot of small businesses in early stages. This presents difficulties when orders are being placed via email and text. Orders get forgotten and data entry mistakes happen. The surprising reality is the big businesses have the same problems and often hire unnecessary staff to process these orders.

It's not just ordering that is painful. Our business had close to 20 suppliers in the search to get high quality products and the ideal price. This led to many different ways of ordering required. The challenge is training staff on how to order for many suppliers, mistakes happen, over ordering, under ordering.

Whenever we needed a new product it is a very time consuming process. Jump on Google, search for what you need, often prices aren't available which means emailing or calling and hoping the supplier gets back to you. An ever frustrating experience when time is limited and all the suppliers would actually appreciate the business.

For us it was difficult to get on the road and visit stores with our limited time. This made growing wholesale very difficult. We had to hope the right businesses find us, remember to order or re-order from us and stay on our books.

All of the above issues led to a thought. If suppliers find dealing with orders difficult and want more customers, and customers find discovering suppliers and ordering difficult the solution is actually simple. Create a system that streamlines and automates ordering, connects suppliers and customers, makes payments easier and more.
