The Keeper

The Keeper’ brand was born out of a desire to create a

sustainable business that supports the good of all.

I am Hugh Dinning, founder of ‘The Keeper.’ I have 50

years of experience in the textile industry. Twelve years ago I

chose to walk away from chemically grown cotton and dyes

which have devastating effects on the earth. The Keeper was

established with the intention of helping our planet. We only

use 100% organic cotton and natural dyes for our collection

of shopping bags. That way, our Keeper products will happily

return to the earth.

My journey led me to Karur in India, the home of textiles.

Our bags made with love are based upon 12 years of

research and development with our valued team. With deep

gratitude, I have strong relationships with ‘The Keeper’

community which encompasses my providers in India to our

ambassadors in Australia.

We aim to honour the earth and raise environmental

awareness. Our eco-conscious choices today, protect our

future generations. From the earth to the earth.
