Sweet Australian mango delicately spiced with red chilli and nigella

MANGO CHUTNEY

The English “chutney” is derived from the Indian word “chatni” meaning “to lick”. Finger licking good, they are served as an accompaniment to spicy meals. The English added sugar and vinegar to these spice mixes to preserve fruits off season.

Inspiration from an Indian kitchen

Serve with curries, tikkas, samosas and pakoras. Use it as a sandwich spread, on a cheese board or to baste a roast chicken.
