Does inventory sync with Shopify/Square in real-time?

Yes. Supply'd acts as the "Master" inventory. When you make a sale on Shopify, POS, or Wholesale, inventory is deducted centrally in near real-time. This prevents overselling and ensures your website always shows accurate stock levels.

Can I manage stock across multiple locations?

Yes. You can track stock across unlimited locations (e.g., Warehouse A, Retail Store B, Van 1). You can easily transfer stock between locations and view "Stock on Hand" specific to each site.

Can I set "Safety Stock" buffers?

Yes. To prevent selling your last unit online (which might be damaged or missing), you can set Safety Stock Buffers for each channel. For example, you can tell Shopify to show "Out of Stock" when you still have 5 units left in the warehouse.

How do you handle Expiry Dates and Batches?

Unlike generic inventory apps, Supply'd tracks Batch Numbers and Expiry Dates for every item. We use FEFO (First Expired, First Out) logic to suggest which stock to sell first, reducing spoilage and waste.

Does production usage deduct inventory automatically?

Yes. If you manufacture food, Supply'd automatically "backflushes" (deducts) the raw ingredients (flour, sugar, packaging) from inventory as soon as a production run is completed, so your raw material counts are always accurate.

Do I have to close the business to do a Stocktake?

No. You can perform Rolling Stocktakes (Cycle Counts) using the PDA scanner or tablet. You can count specific categories, aisles, or brands while the business keeps running, rather than stopping everything for a full weekend count.

How does it handle "Landed Costs" for imports?

Supply'd calculates the true cost of your inventory by allocating freight, insurance, and duty costs across the items on a Purchase Order. This gives you an accurate Moving Average Cost and protects your margin.

What happens if I find damaged stock?

You can perform an immediate Stock Adjustment or Write-off on the app. You can assign reason codes (e.g., "Damaged", "Expired", "Sample") to track exactly why you are losing stock and generate wastage reports.

Can I handle Consignment Stock?

Yes. You can set up a "Virtual Warehouse" for stock held at a distributor or customer site. This allows you to track ownership of the stock separately from your main warehouse inventory.

Does it integrate with my accounting software?

Yes. Supply'd syncs all inventory financial movements (Purchases, COGS, Adjustments) to Xero or MYOB. We act as the operational sub-ledger, keeping your accounting file clean and accurate.
