2. Information We Collect

Personal information is any information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not, and whether the information is recorded in a material form or not. This definition includes a broad range of information about an individual, such as their name, contact details, financial information, and any other details that can be linked to a specific person.

Supply’d may collect personal information from you and other sources when you use Supply’d applications and services. That information is collected through the website, mobile app, direct communications with you or through other means.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information primarily to provide and improve our services to you. This may include processing your data for purposes such as account management, order fulfilment, customer support, and communication. We will personalise your experience with our applications and services, making them more relevant and convenient for you. Additionally, we may use your data for internal analysis and to ensure regulatory compliance. We are committed to safeguarding your personal information and will not use it for any purposes beyond what is necessary to deliver our services and enhance your experience.

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and regulations relating to the Act. We will always provide you with clear information about the legal basis for processing your data, and we are committed to upholding the highest standards of data protection and privacy throughout our operations.

4. Data Sharing

We may share your information with trusted third parties only when it is necessary to provide our services or meet legal and regulatory requirements. This may include sharing data with service providers who assist us in delivering our services, partners involved in specific transactions or promotions, and government authorities when required by law. We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We take measures to ensure that these third parties adhere to the same high standards of data protection and security that we maintain.

5. Data Security

We employ a range of rigorous measures to safeguard the information we collect. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel only, and we regularly conduct security audits and assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. We have robust data backup and recovery procedures in place to ensure the availability and integrity of your information. Additionally, our employees are trained in data protection and privacy best practices to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality. We are dedicated to staying up to date with the latest security developments and continually enhancing our security protocols to ensure your data remains safe and secure while in our care.

To ensure the safety of your account, it is essential for you to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and personal details. We strongly recommend using strong, unique passwords and enabling two-factor authentication whenever possible. We will never ask for sensitive data via email or phone calls. If you suspect any unauthorised access to your account or any unusual activity, please notify us immediately. Your active involvement in safeguarding your account information is crucial in maintaining the security and integrity of your Supply'd account.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We utilise cookies and tracking technologies to enhance your experience while using our services. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us recognise you when you return to our platform, making your interactions more seamless. These technologies also allow us to gather anonymous data about your usage patterns, preferences, and website traffic to improve our services and offer tailored content. We may use both first-party cookies (set by Supply'd) and third-party cookies (set by our trusted partners) for various purposes, including analytics, advertising, and social media integration.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and request that it be corrected if inaccurate. You also have the right to request the deletion of your data under certain circumstances, as well as to restrict or object to its processing. We will provide you with the ability to easily exercise these rights, and we will respond to your requests in a timely and transparent manner.

To access, correct, or delete your information, or to restrict or object to its processing, you can make a request in writing to the Privacy Officer through one of the mediums outlined under contact information in Item 11 below.

8. Third Party Links

Please be aware that while using Supply'd services, you may come across external links and websites that are not operated or controlled by us. We want to emphasise that we do not endorse or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or security of these third-party websites. Accessing external links is at your own discretion and risk.

We advise users to review the privacy policies and terms of use of these external sites before engaging with them. At Supply'd, we are committed to protecting your data and privacy within our platform, but we cannot extend that protection to external sources. Your diligence in understanding the policies of any linked websites is crucial in safeguarding your information.

9. Childrens Privacy

The Privacy Act 1988 protects an individual's personal information regardless of their age. It doesn't specify an age after which an individual can make their own privacy decision. For their consent to be valid, an individual must have capacity to consent.

While it is not usual that children will be using our products and services, we understand that it is possible. If we become aware that you have provided Supply’d with personal information and that you are a child, Supply’d will ask for the consent of your Parent or Legal Guardian to retain your information. If that consent was not received within 14 days of our request, we may restrict your right to use our products and services.

If you believe that your child's data has been collected without your consent or wish to exercise your rights concerning their data, please reach out to our Privacy Officer through one of the contact mediums detailed under Item 11 Contact Information, and we will promptly address your concerns.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

Whenever we make changes to our Privacy Policy, we will provide notice of these changes on our platform. This may include sending email notifications to registered users, posting prominent notices on our website or within our applications, or providing in-app notifications. We encourage our users to regularly review our Privacy Policy to stay informed about how their data is protected and used. Your trust and understanding are of great importance to us, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our policies align with the best practices in data protection and privacy.
